I've lived in the SF Bay Area and New Orleans and this salon has the most knowledgable,creative, and friendly staff . They are expertly trained in haircoloring. The massage therapists are highly skilled and knowlegable in physiology to give the safest and most effective service. Those who do facials and waxings work for and achieve perfection. You will never be disappointed.

This was my first visit to the salon and I was so impresssed. It was such a relaxing experience with no sales pressure to buy products. I appreciate their professionalism and energy!!! I will be a loyal customer.

I just started going to Pret a Porter Salon in June as a hair model. I found their ad in the Reader for hair cut/color models. Shauna cut my hair the 1st time and Briana did my high lites and color. Both Shauna & Briana did a wonderful job. I used to let my hair go since I did not trust anyone with my hair. Not anymore, now I go every 6 weeks. Now I do not have to worry about what my hair will look like when they finish. I can't wait to have Rosemary give my daughter & I our pedicures.

Pros: They have saturday and late afternoon appointments.

Roz knows what looks the best for your skin tones and doesn't let you get away with looking "just OK". My hair color always gets compliments and my cut is always the best. When I need an update, she let's me know and I always do what Roz recommends and have never been disappointed.

I've been going to Roz for over 10 years, and I always look forward to my haircut and color days, because it's like a mini-meditation day for me. The whole atmosphere of the salon is relaxing and invigorating at the same time. Roz is absolutely the BEST colorist in San Diego county! Everyone is friendly and helpful, but not pushy. The massage services are great, too!

This is my second visit for a pedicure and I couldn't recommend a better place. Rosemary was awesome and I am now a permanent client. The whole staff is very welcoming and always ready to see to your needs. I will recommend this salon to all my friends.

Cons: parking; especially if you have a standard shift

I absolutely love this Salon. I have been getting my hair done by the owner, Roz Oserin, for over 10 years. She gives great cuts and THE BEST color anywhere. I also highly reccomend their spa services. The massage room is great with it's own private shower shower. And if you go, you MUST get a facial from Teresa - the most relaxing and best feeling facial I have ever had. She actually puts me to sleep. Check out this salon, you won't regret it.

Pros: Entire experience

Cons: Parking. Only a few spaces out front, but I always find a spot on the other side of the street.

I have been a customer at the salon for almost 9 years and must say it's a comfor to know I can consistently get a great cut and excellent color every time. The addition of spa services several years ago enhanced the experience, allowing for a day of total relaxation. I highly recommend taking advantage of all of the services offered.

Because I have such a demanding schedule at work, I never make hair appointments. I usually walk in to one of the local salons on the weekend. When I got to Pret-a-Porter Salon it was about 5 p.m. on Saturday. The owner and a couple others were still there and said he would be glad to take me. It's one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. The salon was clean and the price was right too. I will definitely call for an appointment the next time I need a haircut and see if they can take me on the spur of the moment.

Pros: good parking, clean and bright salon, great haircut, open late
