I should've followed my gut when I walked in, however we happened to be at the mall and my son needed a haircut. The place looked old and dingy. The receptionist was cold and gave my son a mean look when he picked up a small car they had for sale. The manager came over to the receptionist and in front of me told her not to give a certain stylist clients if she was going to keep doing a half ass job. My son has had haircuts before and never has he screamed during a cut. The hairstylist was rude, impatient, and grumpy. Not once did she try to talk to my son or comfort him. Never did she smile. She held his head so hard trying to cut his hair that he had red thumb marks. She yelled at me when my son pushed her hands away. At this point I took my son out of the seat and ended that misery. When I complained about the horrible treatment of my son and the botched up haircut, there was no response. The receptionist had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to leave a tip. For a place that is for kids the workers we encountered seemed to despise kids. This place is the WORST. Kids should never experience something so terrible. Next time I'll take the 30 min drive to Otay Ranch Mall and go to Pigtails and Crewcuts where the staff know how to treat customers and truly enjoy working with children.

Horrible

I was extremely upset by this place. I recently took my three year old into there for a hair cut and they shaved a bald spot into his hair right before our Christmas picture! When it happened I was extremely upset and the hair stylist kept insisting that she could fix it and only made it worse. Then I wasn't comp for the hair cut that was a mess, they said it was against policy. I was livid. So now our family Christmas picture is ridiculous, my son is now afraid of the hair salon, and I"m out fifteen dollars. This place is horrible!
