The Rock Churches are to be avoided. They are vehemently anti-gay. They have signature drives in our community to deny basic rights to Gay folk. Pastor McPherson spearheads this effort which causes Gay folk to fear to enter certain neighborhoods, fear losing their jobs, fear losing their lives. The Church misinterprets Scripture in order to validate their hatred toward Gay folk. This causes immense misery in the Gay community. There are many many many churches in this city that love Gay people and will include them, cherish them and marry them. The most important message that Christ gave us was: LOVE THY LORD WITH ALL THY HEART AND SOUL, AND LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF. The Rock Church does neither. Please, please avoid this kind of hatred.
