Newport Avenue dive attracts a familiar OB crowd with funky digs and cheap drinks.

Past the bouncer seated under the huge neon moniker lays an ocean-themed watering hole just a few blocks from up from the real thing. Funky under-the-sea murals dominate the walls above huge half-circle booth alcoves, and a mysterious blue hue permeates the room. An old-fashioned jukebox punctuates the long curved bar and plays classics from the '70s and '80s--the era when most of the regular clientele was born--into the wee hours.
