A Motel 6 by any other name.... The location is the only thing this place has going for it. The rooms, decor, and restaurant are quite average and definitely not worth the price. it?s not the most expensive place you could find, but I would definitely recommend either spending a bit more and getting something that?s actually swank (The W or Hilton) or save yourself some dough and just stay at the Comfort Inn, Super 8, etc. In fact, the Super 8 actually cares a great deal more than Hotel La Jolla whether or not you come back or recommend their hotel to others as evidenced by the relative levels of service. I like to support independent businesses when I can, but sometimes the fact that a business is the only one that exists is indicative of the fact that it simply isn?t good enough to successfully repeat its practices.
