The Most Incredible Manicurist in San Diego ?

And, do I hate having to admit that it is in Coronado! A visit to Pam is one of only two things that is important enough to me that I will cross the bridge with a smile.

I have been treating myself to her exquisite service for going on ten years. When she moved, I followed. With Kelly and Mailette, first at I.C.E. Spa and now at La-Di-Da, she has found a home that is perfect for her unique combination of technical expertise and aura of tranquility. The atmosphere at La-Di-Da has a Zen tranquility. Shelley is the perfect ambassador to what awaits beyond. It is a place where you do not have think about the ?real? world unless you really can?t control your thoughts.

Next week I leave for seven days at a luxury spa south of Mexico City in the foothills of the Sierra Madre. Two days before I board the plane, I have an appointment with Pam for an Ultimate Mani/Pedi.

Best Sugaring in San Diego

I first saw Kelly 2 years ago when I got a gift card from a friend for a pre-wedding bikini wax and I've been coming every month since! I love the new location in Coronado-the spa looks great, feels great and parking is easy. You can't beat a trip to the spa to get pampered followed by a nice walk on the beach. Kelly uses sugar instead of wax which is quick and easy and virtually pain-free. I highly recommend their services and Kelly. You have to check this place out and tell all your friends! Mailette is great too-she filled in for Kelly a few times and does a great job. Thanks Kelly and Mailette for always making the experience great!

La Di Da formerly I.C.E Spa

I've been a La- Di-Da client for quite awhile. I became a faithful client since I was refered to Kelly through a good friend of mine, since my first visit I was hooked. I starting going to Kelly for Sugaring. A technic I had never heard of but when I tried it I new I would never wax again. I even took my husband for his very own sugaring experiance. Sugaring was way less painfull than waxing. Anywho.....La-Di-Da formerly I.C.E, is a totally amazing spa. The girls are absolutley friendly, they make you feel very welcome. It's not your typical spa. La-Di-Da has such a calm and inviting yet trendy feel to it. The prices are very reasonable and the service you get from the girls is amazing. I definetly recomened La-Di-Da to anyone looking for a great spa experiance.

great spa & sugaring specialists!!!!!!

I normally go across the bridge for sugaring but saw that La-Di-Da moved to a very convenient place in Coronado. I am soooo happy I went there to try them! I'm an instant regular now!

So many great things to say, where to start?

1. Appointment availability. Oh wow! I called & was able to get in the following day. I probably could have gotten in that day even but my schedule was a bit more rigid. Other reviews I've read say the same thing - they are great about getting people in right away.

2. Serene spa. To me, it was very Coronado - even though they have only been on the Island for 3 weeks when I visited. The interior is gorgeous & sooooo soothing & classic. They even have a private little room to fill out a first visit card. In some of the rooms though, they really jazz it up. I went into this great deep yet bright pink room with black & white pictures on the wall (Audrey Hepburn!) and black & white floral drapes. It was modern & classic at the same time.

3. Price & services. You can't beat the price. The charge for sugaring, which is what I had done, was the exact same as another place across town. But this place really specializes in it instead of offering it as a side service. Sugaring is much better than waxing & Kelly, who sugar'ed me, said she'd been doing it for 10 years. It showed! She was fast & great all around. They even make their own line of the sugaring product (which btw can only be sold to certified sugaring specialists so you can't do this at home). Sugaring goes quicker, it is less painful, results in less ingrown hairs & is just really all around a better process. Most places, if the even DO sugaring, charge higher prices for sugaring ... but they charge the same price. In fact, Kelly said that they typically only do sugaring (except on the eye brows where it can be a little trickier).

Go now! They are so amazing! If you live in San Diego, it is worth the drive. Visiting? You have to try! Loved it!

Beautiful and Relaxing Spa!

A unique spa experience. I went to this spa because of the reviews that I found here. I am VERY happy that I took that advice of you other city searchers. From the second I walked in I felt like I was in another world. The decor is very shabby chic and beautiful. I had an amzing body treatment and massage followed by a wonderfully relaxing facial. I also had my hair done by Jeanette. She is wonderful with blonde highlights. I will definately be a regular at this Aveda spa.

I highly recommend it to tourists and locals alike.

Best PEDICURE in San Diego!!

This spa is Really cute! I had the best pedicure I have ever had at this spa. Pam, the manicurist is absolutely amazing! I even fell asleep during the treatment. They put you in this chair that lays completely back and your legs ar in the air. She covers you with a warm, soft blanket and scrubs and massages your legs, feet and toes. It is amazing! You have to check this spa out. They use all Aveda products.

Relaxed...FINALLY!!!!!

I have finally found a spa that I can feel relaxed and refreshed, but also a spa that i feel comfirtable with. Most spa's I went to made me feel uncomfortable or made me feel like I didn't belong. Being a guy and being athletic is tough on the feet and hands, so I like to get a manicure and pedicure at least once a month. I went from spa to spa until I came to I.C.E. Spa. And now I wont go anywhere else. Not only was I treated like everyone else, but i felt welcomed and appreciated. I would highly recomend this spa to all my friends, guys and girls alike.
