Classy place on Garnet in PB. open on weekends.

This is a new bar here in PB, it is different from Moondoggies and PB Bar and Grill (who own Johnny V.) Place is definitly a hipper crowd with a dress code. It has the look and feel of a meditarrean village. Only open on Thursday - Sunday. I have not eaten here yet but have been here a couple time for drinks. Prices can be seen as a little expensive for PB but it beats taking a taxi downtown.

• Pros: trendy scene. big place right in the heart of pb
• Cons: take a cab there or walk, only street parking.

With multiple themed rooms, a well-dressed singles crowd and a Gaslamp-style door policy, it's not your average PB bar.

If shoes are the ultimate measure of sophistication in PB--where the social strata typically spans from none to flip flops, Vans to Etnies--then Johnny V's is as high-class as it gets. Crowds of closed-toed, high-heeled single professionals hang out here after work for the decent happy hour, and even more arrive after dark for dancing and cocktails. Four distinct rooms, including an outdoor patio, offer partiers a little of everything: people watching, dancing or light nibbling.
