I had a Japanese straightening done on my hair with Chris, and the result were incredible. My hair is smooth and completely straight, I have had a lot of compliment from everyone that knows me, she was friendly and down to earth, the price was great. If you are considering having your hair strightened than Chris is the person you want to see.

I got my Japanese hair straighteing done with Chris. I am so glad I did, it looks absolutely beautiful. I'ts shinny and I can't believe how easy it is to dry it and style it. Ihave had frizzy unruly hair and I have always fought my curls. So I decided to look into Japanese shraightening. I looked at City Search, and all the reviews, all the shops I called were so expemsive I don't have that kind of money. Wen I read Chris's review I was skeptical because ofthe review that was not good. But I went on and read all the others great ones I decided to try it anyway's since the price was in my range. After talking to Chris I made an appointment and I'm not disappointed. If you want your hair straight go see her you will like it. We talked about that review and there is alway one in the group.

I've been going to see Chris for about a year now.....she truly does very nice work. I have had wonderful haircuts and colors with her. She is fair, honest, and very dedicated. For example, she spends a significant amount of time getting the cut just right......and one time when it wasn't to her standards, she insisted that she do it all over again, with no charge of course. I can always get an appointment with her, even when I call last minute. Very pleasant lady....extremely personable and polite. I've been all over to those chic salons and Chris knocks them all out of the water, hands down. You won't be disappointed!

3/11/08 - Chris - YES - I DID contact you and gave you over a week to respond. You didn't. After my second msg you called as I was walking out the door and I said I'd call you back. When I returned, I had an email from you. All it said was "what is your home address". You didn't ask to speak with me, see me or apologize. Just those words. When you sent my refund, again, no words. Just an envolope with a check inside. No note, no apology, no suggestions on how to salvage my hair. I have never been treated this way before. I have never had results like this before. I am a single mom on a fixed income and can't afford what you put me through. Thankfully, you refunded the money - a birthday gift. 3/4/08 - A total of $355 later to repair and condition and cut my hair and it's almost to the point where I'm not ashamed to be seen in public. I just went back to a stylist this weekend for another round of treatments. It's about 6 inches shorter than when I met Chris and, yes, you can call it a bob-cut. I had to do it to get most of the overprocessed, burnt, split, dead ends off. More remain, but I absolutely refuse to go shorter. I also had to cut off the uneven cut I was given. I still get handfulls of hair when I shower that clog the drain, that is the hair that breaks off at the root. Nothing can be done about that. The part in my hair is widening, I assume that is from all the hair loss. I can't put it in a pony tail any more and the wash and wear that I used to enjoy from past Yuko treatments is a thing of the past. It takes at least an hour to look presentable. I should have run when Chris asked me "did you have to use a flat iron after your past Yuko treatments?" and I answered with a confused look "not at all, it was completely straight, silky, smooth and soft!" and her response was "you were one of the lucky ones then!" Little did I know I would be flattening out frizzy burned out hair for an hour each day.

Cons: Not recommended for YUKO or haircuts

Absolutely the best experience in a salon! Chris did a Yuko for my very thick, curly hair and I couldn't be happier with the results. I recieved so many compliments about how soft and shiny my hair looks! As I got older my natural curl started going nuts so I knew it was time to change. I called many different salons, very trendy name recognizable ones. Their prices were OUTRAGEOUS! I found Chris when I googled Yuko and San Diego, I decided to go with her after speaking with her on the phone, she was so patient, informative and kind. My experience in her salon was fantastic. She is a great conversationalist and has a manner about her that is so warm. She is the only person I will trust with my hair. I have been to many other salons and none of them compare to the service Chris provides.

Pros: One on One, Ambience, Conversation, Service, Price

Super sweet lady, very patient and great to talk to. It's been two months since my haircut and it looks even better!!! My hair color is perfect, got lots of compliments!!! Thank you Chris! Keep the good work! See you soon!!

ONLY PRO'S HERE!! NO express (5 min) haircuts here...lol I've already recommended CHRIS to family and friends. Chris was GREAT. I wanted something new and different especially just having come out of a relationship. It was long overdue. I had been growing my hair and have had the same dull style for so long. Never having colored it or received a haircut I liked Chris was exactly THE RIGHT PERSON TO GO TO. She LISTENED to what I wanted and made WONDERFUL suggestions that was fitting for me. I LOVE my new hairstyle and the color of the HIGHLIGHTS she suggested. Got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS! ;) BONUS: Styling tips and I got updated on current Celeb/Entertainment Gossip..SHE KNOWS IT ALL!! =D

Chris has been doing my hair for approx. 10 years. That in itself says something for her ability to do a great job. She does a perm, color & cut for me. She is one of the few people that you can trust to do what YOU want & not what they think should be done. Chris is readily available to fit into my schedule & will stay late or come in early to accommodate me. She is very honest on what will look good & what won't. A new person coming to her will feel @ ease immediately. Don't worry, she will do what you want and more @ a very good price. This is a good example of try it, you'll like it. If and when she moves, I will really be up a creek to have to find someone else I can depend on and trust. KathyD

Chris is an excellent at what she does. I went to her to get the Yuko straightening system. Not only did she charge a fair price, but she did an amazing job! She is very nice and knowledgeable. Her flexible schedule worked out great for my busy one. Highly recommended!

Chris Saiz has years of knowledge and experience behind her and is amazing at what she does. she takes her time to make sure she completely understands what her client wants and carefully achieves each of their desires. She did the Yuko sytling process and it was more than I ever expected. It was great and I would consider myself a new fan! Not only did she do a great job at the actual process and with the care of my hair, but she was willing to work late for me and squeeze me in for an appointment. Her skill for what she does is undeniable. Plus she is so funny! Go to her to have all your hair needs and wants met!

Pros: everything...great hair-care WITH style and personality!n
