I would definitely recommend Dr. Kornberg. Experiencing skin issues all my life and seeing different Derms throughout San Diego I found Dr. Kornberg. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and explained all treatment options. His staff was very kind, no long waiting periods for appointments, not even in the waiting room. I went in, filled out paperwork and boom, was seeing Dr. Kornberg within minutes. He answered all my questions and I left feeling grateful for having found Dr. Kornberg. Quick, simple and painless. No regrets here, just thankful that doctors like Dr. Kornberg still exist.
Pros: Parking, Staff, service ,waiting room time Dr's manner, all exceed expectations!!!!!!
Cons: none exist.....

Wher do I begin? Dr.Kornberg is nothing short of a miracle worker. His expertise and time spent with me was well worth the visit. His office staff is very kind/friendly and were very knowledgeable about how my insurance benefits work. I highly recommend Dr Kornberg to anyone in need of a good Dermatologist.

I found Dr. Kronberg to be the most dangerous type of practioner possible. Before I finished explaining my clinical history he was writing an Rx. Skipping history,fundemental physical exam and any type of diagnostic test he miraculously came up with a treatment plan ( flawed as it was). As a medical professional myself I was able to protect myself and bring this most basic issue to his attention. In turn he became rather irrate and arguementative to say the least. It became clear that protecting his ego took precedence over quality patient care.I count myself lucky that I possed the ability to see his grave error and move on. I do however fear for others who may suffer harm from his shotgun "medicine".

I found the staff to be unsupportive and had issues with billing. I dealt with two of the females in the front window who tended to be rude at times. I elected to end my visits to Dr. Kornberg's office due to the fact that there are several other derms in the area with quality care.

I would not recommend this office by any means. I recently started a treatment for a skin disease at his office. I had to clear up a few insurance matters and trying to talk with the women in the front office is a complete joke. They are very inconsiderate and quick to get you off of the phone. I asked if there was any alternative to the treatment I was receiving (which I know there is, and it is a lot cheaper) and I could hear him in the background saying, "ahh, no". He didn't even have the courtesy of getting on the phone to talk with me and instead, he just relayed his "yes"/ "no" questions through the morons in the front office. Also, everytime I went into the office for treatment (2-3 times a week), he had so many people in the waiting room that I felt he was just puttin people through his "assembly line" medical practice. There are many others in the area that are a lot more receptive to the patient's needs.
