Dr. Liss works very hard to help you work through your issues. But, I have learned from personal experience that if I don't do my work, then I don't accomplish anything. Therapy is a team effort , in order for it to work, you must have a great therapist, but you also need to be willing to work and take risks and use the advice that the therapist gives you. If you don't take his advice and put it into practice in your own life, you're not going to grow and change. You can have the best therapist in the world, but you have to work at your therapy too. If the therapist is doing all of the work, you're not going to grow. Because I have taken risks and taken the doctor's advice, my life has changed. My life has changed so much, it is nothing like it was before. It is so much better than I ever thought it would be. I have changed so much on the inside that those changes show on the outside. Happiness can't be bought, but it can be achieved by working hard with a hard working therapist. Thank you Dr. Liss
Pros: Easy to get to from all of the freeways
Cons: Really ugly building

How could someone who had never met me, possibly give me good advice? I had been to other therapists. They had told me where to sit. They had taken copious notes and they still didn't know me. Dr. Liss is 100% different. He doesn't take any notes. He has an exceptional memory. He gets to know who you are on the inside. What you look like on the outside, doesn't matter. He gives you unconditional acceptance. I have talked to a few of the other people that see him, they all say the same thing. Their lives have been changed by the work that they did with him.
Pros: Friendly, helpful, intelligent people
Cons: Expensive parking

Dr. Arne Liss, I saw him for 3 years and 8 months. Sometimes therapy was fun, other times it was very painful. He works very hard, he works long hours and he doesn't charge as much as other therapists. He has been a therapist since 1985, even though he is only 46. He is a very gifted therapist. He gives you his undivided attention and focuses on you and what you're saying. He doesn't tell you what to do but rather others you many options and choices and you decide what works best for you. He does expect you to "do your work" to think about and practice what you have learned in therapy. Otherwise you're wasting your time, his time and your money. It is definitely a learning experience. It changed my life, forever.
Pros: He is a very good thearpist
Cons: Because he is so good, he is in demand and doesn't have many openings available.

I've been through a lot in my life and this man has really helped. He also taught me how to not get in my own way. I've seen him for over six years and my life has changed a lot in that time. He's always amenable to working with my crazy schedule and changing and re-scheduling appointments when need be. He is a very busy man, who helps a lot of people. I highly recommend him.
Pros: Very warm people
Cons: expensive parking meters

The best therapist anywhere. He gives new meaning to the words compassionate and patient. He is a very understanding listener. He really cares about his clients. He is extremely intelligent and well-read in psychology. He is very much in demand, and helps his clients whenever he can. He works with men, women, families. He passes no judgements. When it is time for your appointment, he gives you his full attention. It is so rare to find such a caring individual in any profession. I would recommend him to anyone. He certainly has turned my life around.
Pros: Very warm
Cons: There aren't any.
