My house in Encinitas CA is close to the beach (almost in Leucadia) near hwy 101. I needed a new air conditioner and chose to also get a whole house air filtration system because almost everyone in our family has allergies. We chose Carini Air Conditioning because two of my neighbors in Encinitas used them, and now they're like the family air conditioning company. They do great work at great prices and I recommended them to my aunt and uncle in Carlsbad as well. Thanks Carini Air Conditioning for your great work in Encinitas. Hey - they need to change the phone number for Carini Air - it's 619-843-0997, NOT what's listed here! JR

Pros: Great work, great prices, great service

Cons: They're getting very busy

First of all, you got the wrong phone number and address for Gabe Carini's business! Here's the right phone: 619-843-0997. How can anyone LOVE spending all the money you have to spend to keep your house cool? OK, I don't love it. But have you noticed how frigging hot it's getting in San Diego? It's like we're part of the desert! So I couldn't stand another summer sweating (and having my family be so uncomfortable) like we have in the last few years. My husband just wants to move to Wyoming. Sorry Charlie, we ain't moving, so get used to it and enjoy our newly cool house. I liked that Carini Air San Diego understands about being "Green" - it's important to me that they aren't polluters and that the air conditioning system they installed in my house was as energy efficient as possible.

For heating and air conditioning in my San Diego house, I hired Carini Heating and Air Conditioning based on a referral from my uncle. Carini Heating and Air Conditioning installed both heating and a new air conditioning system, complete with an air filtration system, in my house in Clairemont. I highly recommend Carini and would use them again. CZ

Pros: Great service, prompt reply to my call

Cons: None

Carini Heating and Air Conditioning installed a Rheem air conditioning system in my house in Clairemont. We also needed to replace our old furnace. Both systems were installed on one day after we called for an estimate, and the owner, Gabe Carini was more knowledgeable, friendly and technically oriented than any of the other three companies that we called to get competitive bids. It seems like there are a few different types of air conditioning companies in San Diego - large companies where the installers try to get the highest prices; really small, one-man shops that try to sell at the lowest prices but are not good at follow-up; and a few companies like Carini Air that really get to know the customer and their needs before bidding and installing. Carini's # is 619-843-0997.

Buying an air conditioning system in San Diego can be a real challenge. I have lived in several different houses from North County to most recently in Kensington, and I have had some real nightmare experiences with San Diego air conditioning companies. My best friend referred me to Gabriel Carini, owner of Carini Heating and Air Conditioning, for a new system for my vintage home that was built in 1933. We put in two different systems - one for the upstairs and one for the downstairs, and they were both professionally installed, on time, for a good price and with no hassles. My family trusts Gabe and would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Their phone number is 619-843-0997

Pros: totally dependable, honest and a talented technician

Cons: None
