I let my hair grow for about the last 9 months. I started doing my own color which started looking pretty bad. My boyfriend made an appointment with Chris which I guess he thought I needed a new look, after he found her review . My regular stylist had gone on maternity leave. Chris totaly fixed the mess I had created. I've got a new sassy look and really love how I feel. I look forward to my next appt.!! Go see her you will really like it, and her price are the best in town.

Chris is your girl!!! Color, Extensions....you name it, she's awesome. I have been going to Chris for over 2 years know and couldn't be happier. I recently had her add some extensions and I can't believe how good they look, She's a pro!!! The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Check it out, definitely worth the visit

Chris came in to my hair's life about 12 years ago. As my long term hairdresser was moving out of state, I needed someone new, someone who cared, someone who my current hairdresser and I could trust. Chris, at that time, worked for my hairdresser. We decided to give her a try. And I've never looked back. Since that time, Chris has become my friend, confidant, and most importantly, the only person I will let touch my hair. Over the years, I've had subtle changes in my hair style. I've always let Chris lead the directions in those changes. I've always approved and been very happy with the results. Chris washes, cuts, and colors me every 4 weeks. I'm at that inbetween stage of colors... but only my hairdresser knows that for sure. After every appointment.. the compliments roll in. I've referred many people to Chris over the years. And will continue to refer many more people as the situations arise. If you're looking for a relaxed environment, great conversation ,fun time, and an exceptional hair experience, Chris' Salon 10 is the place. You will be treated with great respect and be treated with a wonderful cut, color, trim, wash, perm or whatever it is you are needing. I think one thing that also stands out at Salon 10 is the respect Chris has from those in the same building. The comraderie is evident as they are always stopping by to say hi and laugh. And Chris includes you in those conversations, and introduces you to everyone, no matter who they might be. I loved watching her set up Studio 10 to make it fun and relaxing for her clients. She always asks your opinions and values everything you say. Talking with Chris is like spending time with a family member. One who truly cares about your experience and what you think of her work. I recommend to anyone to visit with Chris and let her take over your hair. She'll work with you and around you. You'll never be sorry you did. I'll never step off my soapbox here, as I truly think she's best!

I've been going to see Chris for about a year now...she truly does very nice work. I have had wonderful haircuts and colors with her. She is fair, honest, and very dedicated. For example, she spents a significant amount of time getting the cut just right....and one time when it wasn't to her standards, she insisted that she do it again, with no charges of course. I can always get an appointment with her, even when I call last minute. Very pleasant lady....extremely personable and polite. Ive been all over to those chic salons and Chris knocks them all out of the water, hands down. You won't be disappointed!

I was shopping at the mall and saw this woman with the best haircut and color... I asked her were she went to, and she said Chris at Studio 10. I had to check it out myself...and am so glad I did!. She gave me the best haircut and my hair color is just what I wanted, and I can not believe how amazing I look. I have not had that many compliment in my entire life. I just let her create and I am truly a NEW WOMAN!!!. Thanks a million Chris I am a follower for life.

I'm a student visiting from Illinois. Having spent a whole winter doing research. I decided to atleast have a nice gorgeous California haircut before I leave. Since I originally came from Taiwan, I am VERY skeptical of going to American salon. So I planned on going to Moga salon by Mitsuwa. Unfortunately it's TOTALLY booked! Since it's my last day in SD, I decided to just go with whatever. After reading the other's review about Chris I decided to make an appointment and just go with it. When I first arrived I was kind of worried, Chris doesn't look like the hip/chic looking hairstylist I'm used to in Asian salon. She.. just looks like a mom.. someone probably my mom will go to in a family salon shop. But her personality totally won me over the next second. Very welcoming, very nice an warm. She gave me a really nice wash, then proceed to cutting my hair. I told her I have naturally curly hair that I really hope to have a cut which it wouldn't be so fuzzy and untamable all the time. I also told her I always go back to Taiwan each year to get the Japanese staightening for the past I guess 8 or 9 years now. But since I couldn't make it back this year, I'll just settle for a cut. She then started cutting..A LOT..I was worried again.. After she's done cutting I was so sure I might cry, it was too short I think. Then she started styling/drying it. Next thing I know... I don't even recognize myself! Can't believe how much a hairstyle can change you! it's soooo cute!!! I was VERY VERY PLEASED. After landing in Chicago, My boyfreind and bestfriend picked me up and they BOTH were shocked at how someone who never would cut her hair that short afraid the natural curls will go wild actually can have such a cute hair cut! So I stayed in Chicago for the next day took lots of pictures thinking that after shampooing it that night, all the nice style will be ruin and I won't know how to dry it like what Chris did. BUT!! IT STILL DID!! that's how good it is!! highly recommended!

ONLY PRO'S HERE!! NO express (5min) haircuts here...lol I've already recommended CHRIS to family and friends. Chris was GREAT. I wanted something new and different especially just having come out of a relationship. It was long overdue. I had been growing my hair and have had the same dull style for so long. Never having colored it or received a haircut I liked Chris was exactly THE RIGHT PERSON TO GO TO. She LISTENED to what I wanted and made WONDERFUL suggestions that was fitting for me. I LOVE my new hairstyle and the color of the HIGHLIGHTS she suggested. Got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS! ;) BONUS got styling tips.

I can't even remember how many years I've been going to Chris. It must be getting close to ten years now! My mom found her first, actually, and so I went to her simply because my mom was going to her and told me to "give her a try". Lucky for me. I did. I live in Los Angeles now because I'm an actor and I have tried to find a stylist in the LA area so that I wouldn't need to drive to San Diego for hair appointments, I went to very expensive stylists in Berverly Hills, I went to people recommended to me by friends, I went to stylists I read about in acting books.....and found no one who cut and colored my hair as well as Chris. I consistently get compliments on both her cuts and color. I've even gotten compliments from hair and make-up artists on sets of acting jobs. And even when I'm not sure exactly what color or what type of cut I want, I walk out looking fabulous! Chris has a talent for helping me find new looks that compliment my face, personality and lifestyle. I make my appointments on Saturdays and drive to San Diego when I need my hair done because it's worth the trip!!

Absolutely the best experience in a salon! Christine did a Yuko for my very thick, curly hair and I couldn't be happier with the results. I recieved so many compliments about how soft and shiny my hair looks! As I got older my natural curls started going nuts so I knew it was time to change. I called many different salons, very trendy name recognizable ones. Their prices were OUTRAGEOUS! I found Christine when I googled Yuko and San Diego, I decided to go with her after speaking with her on the phone, she was so patient, informative and kind. My experience in her salon was fantastic. She is a great conversationalist and has a maner about her that is so warm. She is the only person I will trust with my hair. I have been to many other salons and none of them compare to the service she provides.

I have been going to Chris at Studio 10 for 4 years now but she's been doing my mom's hair for years. I think I was in high school when my mom started going to Chris for help with her hair (Don't ask how many years that's been, its just been a long time). Chris is a miracle worker and I will go to no one else besides her - even though I live in Palm Springs. Every 3 months I make an appointment and take a little vacation to my home town. I love the felling done with highlights and a haircut - I feel like a movie star. I have longer kind of thick hair (with highlights) and my mothre has VERY thin hair (that Chris colors) - we both have wonderful results wen we leave. And she takes walk-ins for simple bangs trims cuts. Chris even helped when my mother was going through breast cancer (with hair and mentally). She was so caring and helpful with my mom during this hard time. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Chris to any and everyone. She's so fun to talk to and the time just flies by when I'm there. Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! And with gas this expensive, I wouldn't waste a drive like Palm Springs to San Diego for any ol' hair cut!
