Do not eat here.

by sdborn8

One night in October, 2008 my sister invited me to go to this bar and I accepted the invitation. About an hour into the night I am standing by the bar and I feel something on my lower calf, like something was grabbing me. The next thing I see is a zrat climbing straight up the pillar at the bar next to me. I then realized that this zrat had just used my leg to hoist itself up onto the bar. My friends were screaming. It was so disgusting.

(city search won't let me post the real word for the animal but I think you should know because it is concerning).

good PB bar that has large menu

by sandiegofan

This is the typical PB bar, no dress code and the crowd is quite young. Food is pretty good, I recommened the Beryl sandwich or burger. They also have pretty good happy hour specials like half off appetizers. Also they have good drink specials. Not really a place you would bring the family but thats not what they are going for. This place also gets really packed on Taco Tuesday's, come really to reserve a table.

  • Pros: Good food and drink specials. Large place and many tv's
  • Cons: Sometimes sketchy crowd and very long crowds

Chill, Surfer Crowd

by daisy00700

Typical PB bar, very crowded on weekends! Really chill, relaxed and casual, you can wear your shorts and flip flops. Quick service usually. Hard to find a table to sit at though, and the dance floor usually gets pretty crowded. But its a fun place to meet people, usually with a younger crowd.

  • Pros: Chill, relaxed
  • Cons: Crowded

Safely walking the line between a frat boy's dream and a food enthusiast's paradise.

by Contributor

The Scene
This is primarily a destination for the frat boy/surfer pub crowd visiting for a few pints and loud conversation. First-timers might be a little put off by the raucous noise, the salty language and the aroma of stale beer wafting from the beaten carpet below. Your best bet is to head straight to the breezy courtyard.

The Food
To the kitchen's credit, this is some of the more sophisticated pub grub you're ever going to find in a bar and grill. The salads like the blackened Ahi Caesar and the seafood Louie are entire meals unto themselves filled with extremely fresh fish and crisp romaine all stuffed into a bowl the size of a home satellite dish. The burgers, pizza and sandwiches are good enough, but try going with the well-seasoned jerk chicken or the surprisingly well-prepared New York steak backed with the soup of the day and a massive baked potato.
