Dear Judy,

I just wanted to take the time to thank you and let you know how much I appreciated your services. I was a bit skeptical as how I was going to open up to a complete stranger but your sincerity made it easy. Your expertise really helped me in and out of work. I was originally going to see you for our Employee Assistant Program but I also came out of it with better skills for interviewing. I would also like to thank you for how you handled the situation regarding my medical records. Your professionalism and mannerism were more than I could have asked for. You are greatly appreciated.

Career Couseling

Many thanks to Judy for help with my resume, CV, and work-place bullies. I called her because I was in such at rut with my career. Even though I had finished my doctorate, which was the completion of a lifetime dream, I couldn’t manage to move forward with my career. Her expert advice on writing my resume and CV has brought me to a new place – that of renewed confidence and the knowledge that my career can take off. As for the work-place bullies, Judy's wisdom on handling them gave me just the support I needed to power forward with my own goals. They’ll have to find someone else to pick on!

Judy Kaplan Baron encourages me to be my best

In all my experience with Judy Kaplan Baron, I have found her accurate, honest and

objective. She is professional, yet friendly. An authority without

being an "authority figure". I have come to trust her skills and opinions,

both in my career and marriage.

I depend on Judy to guide me through the hard times that can happen in a committed relationship. She listens equally to my husband and me, and shows no bias. She assigns homework. I am able to measure my level of commitment based on how much homework

I do.

Judy challenges and questions. She helps me visualize my dreams and

needs, encourages me to work for my "brass ring". She encourages me to be my best--it is hard work but its incredibly worthwhile. My thoughts and dreams are on a higher plane thanks to Judy Kaplan Baron's counsel.

My husband trusts her as a counselor. In her relationship counseling, he understands the factual information she provides. He doesn't work well with "how do you feel" type questions, and she realizes that. And when he understands, he succeeds.

Judy, thank you for being such a down to earth, results oriented,

dependable, career and MFCC guide. I am a better person because of you.

She helped me focus and answered all my questions.

There was a lot more to the career counseling process than I thought. I am grateful that I didn't quit after the first session. I think I wanted everything to be resolved in one hour, but that obviously didn't happen. Within 2-3 appointments, she got me on track and kept me moving in the right direction. She's very personable and professional. What's most important is that she helped me focus on what I really wanted and then coached me and answered all my questions to help me get there. If you need help getting from where you are to where you want to be, I'd recommend you check her out.

I went to Judy Kaplan Baron specifically to learn to interview better. I am sure her guidance made all the difference in how I came across. (I knew I needed help but I had no idea I was so bad!) She helped me reduce my nervousness. I now know what to expect and am much calmer. She helped me anticipate questions which were likely to be asked and she was right on! She gave me an easy way to think about answering questions too. It was clear from the beginning that her techniques were superior to anything I'd done previously. The real prize is that I got the job I wanted. There's no question in my mind that the techniques she taught me made the difference.

She's got a reputation as the best career counselor in San Diego and she deserves it!

I was referred to Judy by a friend who said she helped him turn his life around. Personally, I was beyond frustrated with my career. I was skeptical but willing to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did! Judy helped me figure out what I really wanted, suggested a great new direction and was instrumental in helping me get there. She is truly amazing. She was there for me when I needed her and her guidance was invaluable. Since then, she's been a great resource for me whenever issues come up and I need/ want her opinion or advice. I've used her to help resolve on-the-job and personal issues as well. She's a great combination of caree counselor, coach, and therapist. She's been a great find and I hope she never retires! Without hesitation, I highly recommend her.
