Outstanding Work and Amazing Service!!!!!

I called United Auto Body after reading the reviews here. After speaking with Mark, I knew immediately that I was calling the right guy to repair damages to my car. I was initially concerned with my insurance company trying to cut costs on the repairs. He assured me that he was in the business to provide ME with excellent service and not my insurance company.
He fulfilled his word. When the insurance company attempted to cut costs on my repairs (using low quality products and used parts on my brand new car), Mark went to battle for me and would not allow them to take advantage of my circumstances. In addition, United Auto body did an outstanding job on my car and had the repairs done on the date that was promised!!!
You will not go wrong with United Auto Body. I recommend them to anyone in need of auto body work.
Repairs made SO easy!

I would hands-down recommend United Auto Body every time, based on the terrific service I have consistently received over the past several years.
This is one-call customer service at its finest. Simply call Mark or one of the ladies and tell them you need a repair. They walk you step-by-step through the process and save you money wherever possible.
My latest repair went through an insurance company, and United Auto Body did everything from arranging for my wrecked car to be towed, to explaining the rental car process and communicating directly with the insurance adjusters. When it was time to pick the vehicle up I was greeted, shown the repairs....they even put on my new license plate and registration tags!
I never experience service this great in any industry. The best part is that this easy, friendly experience has been consistent whenever my family members or I have needed repairs. EVERY TIME they exceed my expectations. You will have a similar experience, so these are definitely the people to call.
- Pros: Best customer service of any industry.
The best experience I've ever had with an auto repair shop.

My auto insurance recommended Caliber Collision for my repairs. I asked for the recommendation from them so I would know which facilities to avoid as there is a conflict of interest between the insurance company and the auto body repair shops which they may recommend.
I picked United Auto Body & Paint because of their professional website and their history of highly rated reviews.
The owner of United Auto Body & Paint, Mark Jannesari is extremely honest and personable. He is great about offering you all the different options to go about a repair which can end up saving you a lot of money. He defnately goes out of the way to make sure you're 100% satisfied with the work he does for you.
When I brought my SUV for a front fender repair, he touched up the scratches and chips on my rear bumper at no extra charge. The bumper looks great and you can hardly see where the touch ups were done. "Bumper Medic" had previously quoted me $600 to repaint the entire bumper without even offering me the option of doing a simple touch up which Mark did for me at no extra charge!
This was definately the best experience I've ever had with an auto repair shop and I'm glad to have found him. I would highly recommend him without hesitation to anyone including friends and family.
- Pros: Excellent customer service; great quality work; fast repair.
- Cons: None.
Excellent Automobile Collision Repair

Just wanted to let you know that we are very happy with the way my car looks after your repair service. It actually looks better than before because of the great paint job you guys did. Between Farmer's Insurance and your quick turn around, the whole ordeal became a minimal stressful event. I also appreciated the inside tips you gave me on how car rental agencies work.
Also, please know that your donation to my daughter's girl scout project was very kind and generous! Thanks again. We can always use an excellent auto body service! I will make sure to recommend you to my friends.
- Pros: Professional, nice, informative
- Cons: Off major heavily trafficed road and narrow driveway.
Best Auto Body Shop I've Ever Dealt With!!

After reading many excellent reviews for United Auto Body, I decided to stop in last Monday for an estimate on several dents and scratches on my car. As soon as I walked in Mark and Suzette treated me like I was their number 1 customer. Mark looked over the damage and recommended the best work at the best possible price. He explained the kind of work they would do and what it would look like when done. I could tell immediately Mark takes his work very seriously and really wants the best for his customers. My car was ready in three days as promised and all I can say is...His prices are really good for the superb work they do!! My car looks really good. I usually don't write reviews for businesses, but this time I had to make an exception. Thank you again to Mark and his crew for the outstanding work and customer service. I will be recommending United Auto Body to everyone at work and my family.
- Pros: Customer Service, Workmanship, Price, Everything!
- Cons: NONE

SoI after a minor incident in a parking lot, my front bumper was scratched and scuff, and so I googled auto collision places in my area. I stumbled upon a few and decided to go to United Auto Body and Paint because it was pretty close and had good reviews. I had scheduled an appointment but was about 20 minutes late because I had trouble finding the place, but it wasn't a big deal or anything. Mark came and looked at my car and he told me that all I needed was to get it polished and he could have it done right then. And that's what he did, it took him probably less than twenty minutes. I paid a lot less than I was expecting too and it was done quicker than I'd imagine. If I got into another accident *knocks on wood* I would come here again or recommend this place to anyone else I know!
- Pros: Friendly staff and timely
- Cons: Small parking lot and hard to find.
Top notch service!!

My car was involved in an accident and I was referred to Mark Jannesari at United auto body. I was pleasantly surprised by their customer service and professional quality of work. They delivered the car on time, and the quality of work was excellent. Moreover, when I needed advice on buying a new car, he was so helpful, and gave a lot of useful advice. I highly recommend this shop for quality and customer service. I have had bad experiences with auto body shops, so this was truly like a breath of fresh air!!
- Pros: Very professional and friendly
- Cons: none
Petty arguments with insurance company caused major delays!
by chrgrfn
January 19, 2009
I took my car to United autobody because of the good reviews I read here. That was a big mistake. They didn't work well with my insurance company and delays were caused. Instead of taking responsibility for the delays Mark blamed my insurance company. To make matters worse the insurance company disagreed with the rates by something like $2-3 hour and Mark would not compromise. He told me to file a claim against my insurance company and said he would do the paperwork. He apparantly does this all the time. What a HUGE waste of my time! My car looks good but other body shops could have done the same work with less hassel!
- Pros: car looks good, Susie at front desk was nice and helpful, good waitng area
- Cons: didn't work well with insurance company, pinched every penny possible
Response from this business

While I prefer to address issues directly with customers, I am unable to do so in this situation since the identity of the person is unknown.
It saddens me that chrgrfn apparently did not understand the process. While many insurers cooperate with body shops, there are some that don?t and will cut corners on repairs just to save a buck.
Most insurers will pay our posted rates. If insurers refuse to fulfill their financial obligation, rather than collect from our customers, we assist them in filing a claim against the insurers for refusal to pay. This has been a successful strategy.
I am happy to read that chrgrfn is happy with how his/her car looks. It also pleases me to know that my staff is nice and helpful. While there may have been delays, it was likely due to the insurers not communicating with our shop. My sincerest apologies to chrgrfn for any and all inconveniences, and I invite you to contact me directly with your concerns.

First Body Shop to tell me what I really needed
by Jezmin
December 15, 2008
So after going to two Body shops because my convertible top had been ripped apart by someone trying to steal my radio, the first body shop to tell me that I needed an upholstery and not a body shop was United. The other two body shops (Balboa and World Auto Body) were happy to charge me an extra $400 just to drive it over to an upholstery. It didn't matter to me much because either way I was going to pay the $500 deductible what mattered to me was being without a car for a whole week due to these two body shops wanting to make an extra buck to drive it a mile over to an upholstery. If you live in San Diego, you know that not having a car for a week can really be disastrous. United told me in the first 5 minutes that I should go to an Upholstery and recommended JIm's Upholstery who competed the job in the SAME day I brought it in.

I keep all my cars in immaculate condition, you might say I'm a little inane (My wife would anyway). In parking lots I park as far away as I can, so some moron doesn't open their door or run a shopping cart into me. Happened to my wifes brand new $30,000 car, the idiot took off leaving a large dent (Am I silly now honey?). So why am I telling you this? Well it just so happens that my neighbor backed into my car, how you don't see a parked shiny red car in broad daylight I'll never know. Keeping in mind that I am somewhat over protective of my cars (Hey they cost a lot), I was bummed as my car had no dents or scratches and it was fairly new. I had been ripped off in the past by 2 of the SHADY auto body shops in Ramona (Jerry's and Ramona Auto Body - wouldn't back their shoddy workmanship) and wondered, how am I going to find an honest shop. So I got on the internet and came across United Auto Body, read their reviews and although they were 30 miles away, decided to check them out. Mark, the owner took time out of his busy day to talk with me over the phone for quite some time, assuring me he would use only new parts to repair my car, even taking on my neighbors insurance as they wanted him to use used parts. Mark assured me he could make my car look good as new. He informed me he would deal with all the insurance and rental car issues and if they called me, to have them call him. When I picked up my car, I had quite a bit of trepidation going on, but my car looked beautiful. Remember I told you I was inane? believe me when I say I looked my car over with a fine toothed comb, it was perfect. As I was leaving, Mark told me "I warranty my work for as long as you own your car". Now that's something you rarely find anymore. So if you want peace of mind when your car needs repairs and paint, you need to go to United Auto Body & Paint. Thank you Mark, Suzette and Staff for OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I'll recommend you to family, friends and strangers.
- Pros: My entire experience
- Cons: None
